Each year we choose a local or regional female artist to kick off the night. In the past we’ve had Sarah Morris and Abby Spencer. This year we’re showcasing Samantha Grimes. Currently best known for her song ‘Wendy Darling’ that spins regularly on Twin Cities 97. But she has a much bigger repertoire of music and stories to share, and we’re excited to have her here for this great night of powerhouse female artists.
